A facilitated Stage Combat Primer for the serious performer. SAFD Certified teacher Christopher Elst and Actor Combatan King Hang lead classes through unarmed combat, domestic violence, how violence can inform acting, and intimacy work.

About the Instructors
A prominent member of several national theater organizations and an advocate for new and safer practices for theaters nationwide, Christopher Elst has performed, directed, and designed violence, movement, and intimacy for professional theaters across the country, including Ogunquit Playhouse, First Stage Childrens Theatre, Finger Lakes Musical theatre Festival, Next Act Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theatre Works, and The Milwaukee Rep. He thanks his wife, Marcee, for late nights and joint locks.
King is q recent graduate of the UW-Parkside. King's most recent show credits in Milwaukee include A Midsummer Night's Dream: The Lovers' Tale (Demetrius) with Optimist Theatre, The Year Without a Summer (The Captain) with Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, and the staged reading of The Tamer with Sunstone Studios.
