Sunstone Studios MKE is located at 127 E Wells Street in the heart of downtown Milwaukee.
Driving to Sunstone
Construction alert! W Wells Street is closed between 6th Street and Vel R. Phillips Avenue (4th Street) where it travels under the Wisconsin Center. We suggest using Kilbourn Avenue, one block north, to avoid this.
From the west via I-94 E:
Take Exit 310B for I-43 N toward Green Bay.
Keep right to continue on Exit 72C, follow signs for Kilbourn Ave. (Watch for the tunnel!)
At the fourth stoplight, turn right on N Plankinton Ave.
At the next light, turn left on W Wells St. (Street becomes E Wells St after crossing the river.)
On the right, just after the river.
From the north via I-43 S:
Take Exit 72B for I-794 E toward toward Lakefront.
Keep right to continue on Exit 1D, follow signs for Plankinton Ave.
At the fifth stoplight, turn right on W Wells St. (Street becomes E Wells St after crossing the river.)
On the right, just after the river.
From the south via I-43 N/I-94 W:
Take Exit 310C for I-794 E toward Lakefront.
Keep right at the fork to continue on Exit 1D, follow signs for Plankinton Ave.
At the fifth stoplight, turn right on W Wells St. (Street becomes E Wells St after crossing the river.)
On the right, just after the river.
From the south via WI 794 N/I-794 W:
Take Exit 1E toward Milwaukee St. (LEFT HAND EXIT)
At the fifth stoplight, turn left on E Wells St.
Two and a half blocks, on the left.
Finding Parking
Street Parking on Wells Street:
There is extremely limited parking available on E Wells Street. Please observe all posted regulations, making special note of loading zones immediately around the theatre.
Parking on the south side of the road is generally:
2-hour metered during weekdays from 9am to 6pm,
2-hour free on Saturdays from 8am to 6pm, and
Unlimited free on Sundays.
More street parking may be available on E Wells heading east toward the lake.
Please also note meters are occasionally covered for special events in the area, which prohibits parking at those times.

We're located just under two blocks from a southbound Hop station and just under three blocks from a northbound Hop station. The Hop is FREE to ride! No tickets or vouchers needed!
